Living with PSP – Eileen and Terry

In this video Eileen and Terry give us a brief insight into daily life with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy . It demonstrates the impact of living with the constant risk of falls , so much a part of PSP, changing lives and life long plans. PSP robs us of time yet it gives us no time. Each day is a challenge for the person with PSP and the carer. Constant change, constant challenge, constant struggle and  lack of sleep.

Equipment to manage, equipment to move around, to get around, to travel, to sit down, to get up safely and a Rizer from the many falls. The constant struggle to tell people about PSP .

PSP is here, in Ireland, in our lives  and in our hospitals . It is time the HSE responded to our call initiated a number of years ago to include Progressive Supranuclear Palsy on their A-Z list of diseases on the HSE website .
