EU Presidency Event: Neurology at the Forefront of Innovation in Knowledge – Based Healthcare and Research Across Europe.
On World Brain Day, 22nd July the Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) along with Future Neuro and partners: the European Brain Council, the European Federation of Neurological Associations and the Global Health Institute held an EU Presidency event Neurology at the Forefront of Innovation in Knowledge – Based Healthcare and Research Across Europe. The event brought together Irish and European organisations representing people affected by neurological conditions, researchers and clinicians and members of the European Parliament to consider how Europe can respond more effectively to the growing challenge of neurological conditions through stronger healthcare delivery, research and innovation.
This is a critical time for change in legislation, thinking, systems, and implementation to prioritise people with neurological conditions and their care.
