Patients Deserve Better is a nationwide campaign led by the Neurological Alliance of Ireland and supported by twenty two national neurological charities. The campaign is calling for a community neurorehabilitation team to be established in each of the 9 CHOs around the country. The campaign launched on 29th November, with the first launch event in CHO 6 (Wicklow, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin South East) and so far there has been a tremendous response with 40 parliamentary questions submitted in just the first month of the campaign. The campaign moves on to CHO 5 (South Tipperary, Carlow/Kilkenny, Wexford & Waterford) on January 24th.
