Fundraiser in Memory of Jim McDonald has now raised €20,758

The Mc Donald family headed off to the Isle of Man to take on the 137 km Parish Walk in 24 hours for PSPA Ireland in memory of their father Jim.  Jim had progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) and died in May 2023 at the age of 69. This amazing man was loyal, loving and generous with an incredible sparkle in his eye. With the support of Jim’s wife Mary and grand-daughter Caitlin, Elaine,Paul, Eoin and Fiona took on this huge challenge on an island that held many memories for them all. They have raised  €20,758 to date to support people with PSP.

‘PSPA Ireland provided invaluable support to Jim, Mum and us as a family over a number of years. It’s an incredible charity. We want to play our part in giving back, so that PSPA Ireland can continue to help others who are struggling with the challenge of PSP in memory of Jim.’

You all set such a high goal to achieve and WOW, your success is so well deserved.

Thank you all for your fantastic efforts, hard work and generosity.  Jim was loved by many and is missed by all. This is a fine tribute to a very special man.
