Luke McCarthy, his family and friends are doing the Galway Bay Run on 5th October 2025 in aid of PSPA Ireland. Joe McCarthy was diagnosed with Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD) . In four years he has gone from being a happy house painter to being unable to walk and wheelchair bound. Joe has lost his ability to talk and communication is difficult. Luke, his family and friends are making this wonderful effort to raise funds and awareness for Joe and others living with these conditions.
