The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) has launched a campaign calling for a dedicated
Consultant Neurologist for Mayo hospital.
Neurological patients are currently travelling up to 80 kilometres to see a Neurologist in
University College Hospital Galway when they could be seen more quickly and easily in Mayo
hospital.
On Monday 15th April, NAI will be holding an online event to enable local TDs and councillors
to hear from local patients, patient organisations and clinicians on the need for a dedicated
Neurology Service for Mayo hospital.
