Registration Open for Bantry Hospital Campaign Event

The Neurological Alliance of Ireland has launched a campaign calling for a dedicated Consultant Neurologist for Bantry hospital. Bantry hospital currently provides some clinics for neurological patients and there is an urgent need to secure and develop a dedicated neurology outpatient service in Bantry for patients throughout West Cork and Kerry.

The alternative for neurological patients is travelling up to 80 kilometres to see a Neurologist in Cork University Hospital when they could be seen more quickly and easily in Bantry hospital.

On Tuesday March 26th at 1pm NAI will be holding an online event to enable TDs and councillors to hear from local patients, patient organisations and clinicians on the need for a dedicated Neurology Service for Bantry hospital.

You can register for this online event at https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/bantry-hospital-patients-deserve-better-campaign-launch-tickets-858854245167?aff=oddtdtcreator

This event is part of a national advocacy campaign calling for neurology services for 5 regional hospitals throughout Ireland, including Bantry hospital. For more information on the campaign visit www.patientsdeservebetter.ie
